While I was in Oregon, Ed accepted an invitation from Chaplain Richard Anderson and his wife, Beth to spend the 4th of July with them at their home on base. Pawel and Michelle (and family) and Rick and Becky (and family) and Matt Harris were also in attendance.
This was Rick and Becky's last day at the base. On Saturday AM, they flew out of Boise on their way to their new assignment in Hawaii. I have asked several of you to pray for Becky as she has a chronic illness that is made worse by stress. She had folks at the chapel pray over her two weeks ago. She said she hasn't had a "flare up" since! Unfortunately, the only pic we got of Becky is not flattering and I am sure she would appreciate me not putting it on this blog. :)

Fortunately for us, we have other friends moving to Hawaii (Skip & Michelle). We have some airline miles so, we're hoping to get to see these friends in the next few years.
