During the summer our PWOC (Protestant Women of the Chapel) meets at the park on base each Wednesday morning. That way we don't have to worry about childcare. The kids love the park. Our first few meetings in the park in June were very COLD! It has been very pleasant this month. We do a short 40 minute Bible study by Kay Arthur. It works pretty well.
We start at 10 and just sit around and chat. Then we pull out the studies around 11 "ish".
Sometimes, we have the occasional distraction....
We plan to meet every Wednesday until the middle of August (except during VBS).
Ed, Julie and I plan to be gone next week. Ed will come home but Julie and I will stay through the next week after that. We will all be at Warm Lake Camp near Cascade, Idaho. There is no internet and no cell phone coverage. So, unless Ed decides to put something on the blog, you won't see anything here for two weeks.

That's such a good idea. You can do that outside in a cooler climate; however, not in Texas unless we could meet at 5:00 am! By the by, I LOVE Julie's hair! She did a wonderful thing to donate it to Locks of Love. God Bless you!
