Beginning 2020

We have had such a mild winter, that I find myself thinking it is ok if we have another snow episode here. Many of you know that I don't much like winter. We had thought we were in for a long, cold winter when it snowed lots in October.

Ed was given an award from the base commander and the command chief.

The chapel sponsored a cooking contest for some airmen. I was an advisor/mentor/coach. These were the coaches and facilitators.

This was my team.

We have several of our airmen deployed. Some of us put together care packages for them.

Some of the chapel men braved the cold and went ice fishing. They brought home lots of fish.

We are grateful to God for these opportunities to share Him and His love amongst the military.

A Short History of Us

Suzie grew up mostly in the western Treasure Valley of SW Idaho and Eastern Oregon and became a Christian as a child. Ed grew up in Roseburg, Oregon and became a Christian as a teen. We got married in 1986 at the church where we met, now called Wellspring Bible Fellowship. We lived in Germany the first two years while Ed served in the US Army. Greg was born there in 1988. We moved back to Roseburg, OR where Julie was born in 1990. We joined Cadence International (then known as OCSC) in 1991 and finally got to our field, Kirch Goens, Germany, in 1994. Our next assignment was Ft. Lewis, WA from 1997 - 2003. We loved it there. The next place was Fellowship Ranch near Ft. Leonard Wood, MO from 2003- 2006. We now serve Mt. Home AFB, ID. Greg lives and works in San Antonio, Texas. Julie has married Jesse Cornell (in the Air Force) and they live with our grandchildren, Dawson, Laci, and Rachel in Ohio. It is nice to be back here as Suzie still has relatives nearby that she loves dearly.
