I haven't updated the blog much since Julie got me established with facebook. It is quite a bit easier to maintain than this blog. But not all of you are on facebook so I'm going to try.




This is where Ed worked while deployed to Ramstein AB Germany. This is the staging area (CASF) for transferring wounded troops who arrive at Ramstein on their way (usually) to the states for further medical treatment. Ed would help the team there unload the wounded on the flight line and bring the non critical patients back to the CASF. They then go through all the checkups and paper work for their final destination. The team then puts the patients on busses, takes them to the flight line and loads them on a jet.

Ed got to take me with him one time as they processed 24 patients. Here we are at the back of the jet just after everyone got loaded on.

We had a baby shower here at our house this past Saturday for Brittney Oler and her son Collin. Brittney and husband Kyle run the youth group on base. What a sweet little boy. We all got to take turns holding him. While were doing that, Julie's fiance' Jesse, cleaned out our garage and detailed my car. What a guy!

Ed is back from deployment. It sure is nice to have him home.
