Our young adult ministry, Velocity, is up and running. It is so exciting to see these young men and women pursue a strong relationship with God and to use their gifts, talents and passions to strengthen the body of Christ. Recently a group of 20 of us prayed for James to work out the logistics to be baptized. He was baptized the following Wednesday (we attended that but our pictures didn't turn out). You can see the picture of our group praying for James below.
We are also busy with the preparations for Jesse and Julie's wedding. We only have 6 weeks to go and so much to do. This is going to be a simple wedding. I feel sorry for those who have to plan elaborate ones! We know we are forgetting some precious people in our invitations. I'm so scatterbrained. Any prayers for this are so welcome!
