We had a very busy Sunday this week. What a gorgeous day it was! The chapel hosted a sunrise service on base. About 20 of us braved the chill (around 37 degrees F?) and watched the sun rise while Chaplain Forsythe talked about the importance of the resurrection.
The Straight Shooters Men's Ministry fixed breakfast for all of us at the chapel fellowship hall. When I arrived there, I saw a bunny next to my parking spot. The rock near it looks almost like an egg...
Jesse and Julie got up bright and early for this as well. The Straight Shooters did a great job feeding us.

We then had a fantastic time of praise and worship at the chapel for the service. After the service, we had about 18 for dinner at our house. I really enjoyed having the gang here.
We headed back to base for Velocity and then after that to the Anderson's house. There we had a flashlight-partner easter egg hunt in the dark front yard. The partners had to be tied together while hunting for eggs. The Anderson's house was PACKED full of people. It was a wonderful day of celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, the greatest cause for celebration!
