We have been blessed to have two bridal showers for Julie recently. In the meantime, I also headed up a program at PWOC called "Spring Cleaning".
Here are pictures from the showers. The first one was put on by Julie's friend Sheena and took place at Michelle's house on base. Many ladies from PWOC attended. Sheena is the one standing in the pic below.
Beth gave a wonderful devotion, and with each point she made, she also gave Julie a book.
Amy made the cake. She is also doing the wedding cake.
Julie feels so loved by the ladies here. The one shower would have been more than enough. The ladies and (especially my Aunt Myrna) at Bible Baptist Church in Payette, Idaho also put on a shower for her. This was special for me because I grew up in that church. The people of that church truly represent the body of Christ at its best. They were there for me as a child and they continue to be there for me and my family now.
The shower and luncheon took place after church yesterday. We are so grateful!

Julie and Jesse are well taken care of. God has provided (through His people) everything they need to set up a household.
On February 25, Spring Cleaning was our theme at PWOC.
Nancy, who recently moved here from Honduras shared how God had cleansed her from the inside out. Beth ably translated from Spanish to English. Nancy shared with me last night, how having to share her testimony made her realize how much God has done for her. She is very grateful for the opportunity she had to share.
Melanie Jones (whose chaplain husband is deployed) shared about moving here to Mountain Home and a pink house. We were very blessed by her words.
